Schedule/Hours:
- 10-hour shifts (9.5 working hours plus 30-minute unpaid lunch)
- Variable days: 6:30 am4:30 pm or 7:00 am5:00 pm
- On-call requirement: minimum 7 days per 4-week schedule, including 5 weeknights and at least 1 weekend
Qualifications/Experience:
- Active New York State RN license required
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associates degree or higher)
- Minimum of 2 years recent CVOR experience
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Solid knowledge of CAD, AS, MR care; familiarity with EPIC and Omnicell systems
- Flexibility to float if census is low
Responsibilities:
- Deliver perioperative care to adult patients undergoing cardiovascular procedures (1:1 ratio)
- Collaborate closely with surgical and anesthesia teams
- Adhere to best practices for infection prevention and patient safety
- Participate in on-call rotation as departmental needs require
- Document patient care accurately using EPIC
