Key Responsibilities:

  • Support surgeons and the clinical team during cardiovascular procedures in the operating room
  • Maintain a sterile field and facilitate the smooth execution of CVOR protocols
  • Conduct pre-operative assessments and ensure all necessary equipment and supplies are prepared
  • Monitor patient status throughout procedures and respond swiftly to evolving needs
  • Document clinical information accurately and communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues
  • Adhere to all facility policies, safety procedures, and regulatory standards

Desired Qualifications:

  • Current, active RN license in good standing
  • Minimum one year of recent experience working in a Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR)
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required
  • Exceptional attention to detail, critical thinking skills, and the ability to function calmly under pressure
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Familiarity with electronic health records and perioperative documentation
