Sunbelt Staffing is seeking an experienced Cardiovascular Operating Room RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Utica, NY. Local travelers will be considered.
Schedule:
10-hour shifts (9.5 working + 30 min unpaid lunch)
06301630 or 07001700 (variable days)
On-Call:
Minimum 7 days per 4-week schedule
Includes ~5 weeknights + minimum 1 weekend (based on staffing needs)
Unit Overview:
- Adult CVOR
- 2 OR beds
- 1:1 staffing ratio
- EMR: EPIC
- Medication system: Omnicell
- Floating required if census is low
Common Cases / Diagnoses:
- CAD (Coronary Artery Disease)
- Aortic Stenosis (AS)
- Mitral Regurgitation (MR)
What Youll Do:
- Scrub and circulate CVOR cardiac cases
- Support high-acuity cardiovascular procedures
- Maintain sterile field and OR readiness
- Collaborate closely with surgical and anesthesia teams
- Ensure safe, efficient patient flow in a high-acuity setting
Requirements:
- 1+ year OR/CVOR experience required
- Graduate of accredited nursing program (ASN required minimum)
- Active NYS RN license required
- BLS required
- ACLS required
