Job Description

Advance your nursing career in a dynamic and highly specialized cardiovascular operating room environment. This contract opportunity is ideal for an experienced RN with strong circulation skills and a robust background in a variety of surgical specialties. You will collaborate with a high-performing surgical team across 14 state-of-the-art operating suites, including dedicated cardiovascular ORs.

Schedule/Hours:

  • Shift begins at 6:30 AM; daily huddle at 6:45 AM
  • OR functions from 7:30 AM to 7:00 PM, with on-call coverage extending overnight and weekends
  • Self-scheduled on-call shifts, typically 12 per week, including weekday and weekend assignments

Qualifications:

  • Active RN license and BLS certification required
  • Minimum of 2 years circulating OR experience in an acute care hospital setting
  • Demonstrated expertise in General Surgery, ENT, Urology/Gynecology, Orthopedics, and Robotic procedures
  • Previous cardiovascular OR experience is essential
  • CNOR certification and over 5 years of OR experience preferred

Key Responsibilities:

  • Circulate in a fast-paced operating room alongside a cohesive team of RNs and Surgical Technologists
  • Engage in complex surgical cases, including heavy robotics, gynecological, colorectal, vascular, and urology procedures
  • Maintain a 1:1 patient care ratio while ensuring a sterile and safe environment
  • Float to Preop Holding as needed
  • Adhere strictly to infection control and facility dress code policiesscrubs provided on-site
  • Participate in daily team huddles and rapid response for on-call needs
