Key Qualifications:
- Current and unencumbered RN license
- Minimum of 2 years recent CVOR (Cardiovascular Operating Room) nursing experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required; additional CVOR-specific certifications preferred
- Strong clinical assessment, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Adaptable to fast-paced, collaborative team environments
- Experience with a variety of cardiovascular surgical procedures
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality patient care throughout pre-op, intra-op, and post-op phases in the CVOR
- Collaborate with surgeons and multidisciplinary teams before, during, and after cardiovascular surgeries
- Monitor patient status and manage medications, drips, and post-op protocols
- Maintain documentation according to facility procedures and regulatory standards
- Ensure strict adherence to aseptic techniques and safety policies
