Schedule:

  • Flexible scheduling with call shifts required

Core Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert perioperative nursing care to cardiovascular surgery patients, including those undergoing heart and lung transplants
  • Assist with preoperative and postoperative assessments, ensuring exceptional patient safety and positive outcomes
  • Scrub for procedures (preferred, not required) to enhance surgical support and broaden your skill set
  • Participate in on-call rotations, contributing to a collaborative and reliable care environment
  • Document and communicate effectively with surgical teams, physicians, and supporting staff

Qualifications:

  • Current RN license in good standing
  • Recent experience in Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) settings
  • Proven competency in heart and lung transplant procedures
  • Scrub experience is a strong plus
  • Excellent critical thinking and interpersonal skills
  • Team-oriented and adaptable to fast-paced, high-acuity environments
