This contract opportunity calls for a skilled RN with proven experience supporting surgical teams and patients before, during, and after cardiovascular procedures. Key Qualifications:
- Current, active RN license
- Minimum of 2 years recent CVOR nursing experience
- ACLS and BLS certifications (American Heart Association preferred)
- Comprehensive knowledge of cardiovascular surgical procedures and sterile technique
- Strong communication skills and the ability to remain composed in critical situations
- Experience operating and troubleshooting specialized CVOR equipment
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality perioperative nursing care to cardiovascular surgery patients
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical technologists to maintain a safe, efficient operating environment
- Prepare operating rooms, ensure accurate instrument and equipment counts, and maintain strict sterile fields
- Monitor patients vital signs and recognize early indicators of complications
- Administer prescribed medications and manage intravenous lines as required
- Provide updates and education to patients, families, and caregivers regarding pre- and post-operative care

$2,299 - $2,432/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
