Schedule/Hours:
- 12-hour Day Shifts
- 36 hours per week
- 13-week assignment
- On-call requirements: 1 weekend per month, plus 1-2 call days weekly
Required Experience & Qualifications:
- Active RN license
- Minimum of one year recent CVOR nursing experience
- Current BLS certification (AHA)
- Demonstrated proficiency in cardiovascular OR procedures
- Strong collaboration and problem-solving skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver skilled nursing care in cardiovascular operating room settings
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and interdisciplinary teams before, during, and after procedures
- Ensure aseptic technique and patient safety throughout all phases of surgery
- Respond effectively to emergencies and adapt quickly in dynamic surgical environments
- Maintain accurate documentation and uphold regulatory standards
