This opportunity offers hands-on experience in a fast-paced acute care setting recognized for clinical excellence, unmatched womens services, and a supportive multidisciplinary team. Collaborate with forward-thinking leaders, utilize advanced Meditech documentation, and care for a wide age range of surgical patients.
Schedule/Hours:
- Guaranteed 36 hours per week
- Variable shifts with on-call requirements
- Weekend commitmentto be discussed during the interview
Key Qualifications:
- Active TX RN license (no temporary licenses accepted)
- Minimum 2+ years recent Day Surgery/OR experience
- Proficient with Meditech (preferred)
- Certified in ACLS, PALS, BLS
- Proven ability to care for adult, adolescent, and geriatric patients
- Experience in general, gynecology, orthopedics, spine, robotics, vascular, cardiovascular, medical/surgical, oncology, neuroscience, and bariatrics
- Energetic, positive attitude with a patient-centered approach
- Ability to float as needed
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and monitor patients pre- and post-operatively
- Ensure meticulous documentation and adherence to safety protocols
- Execute advanced surgical and cardiovascular care plans
- Communicate effectively within a multidisciplinary team
