Key Responsibilities:
- Circulate and/or scrub in CVOR procedures, ensuring surgical field safety and compliance with protocols
- Prepare operating rooms and surgical instruments for cardiovascular surgeries
- Monitor patients vital signs and provide real-time support throughout surgical procedures
- Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and fellow nursing staff for seamless care delivery
- Document procedures, patient responses, and any interventions swiftly and accurately
- Foster a positive, patient-focused environment under pressure with compassion and professionalism
Desired Qualifications:
- Current RN license
- Recent experience in a Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR)
- Proficiency in sterile technique, surgical instrumentation, and related technologies
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong communication skills and capacity to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to adapt to changing situations and prioritize patient safety
