An exciting travel opportunity is available for an experienced RN with CVOR expertise to support a Level I trauma center specializing in open heart and endovascular surgeries. This role requires proficiency in managing complex cardiovascular operating room cases within a high-acuity environment featuring advanced surgical technology.

Location:
Situated in Plano, TX, this state-of-the-art medical center operates 29 ORs across two facilities. The center maintains a robust cardiovascular program including two dedicated heart rooms and two hybrid operating rooms equipped for open and endovascular procedures. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide perioperative nursing care for cardiovascular surgeries including open heart, endovascular, and hybrid procedures.
• Support cases involving advanced cardiac support devices such as IABP, Impella, and ECMO.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including cardiothoracic and vascular surgeons.
• Maintain sterile field and operate complex surgical equipment in two hybrid rooms and two heart rooms.
• Manage 2 to 10 cardiovascular surgical cases daily with high attention to patient safety and outcomes.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Current RN licensure with CVOR experience required.
• Expertise in open heart and endovascular surgical procedures.
• Prior experience working in a Level I trauma center or fast-paced OR environment.
• Ability to work effectively with complex cardiac assist devices.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
