Schedule/Hours:
- Travel assignment
- On call: Average 4-5 days per month, includes 1 weekend per month
Qualifications:
- Active and unencumbered RN license
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Strong clinical background in open heart and vascular surgery
- Demonstrated experience in the operating room (CVOR experience required)
- Adaptable to fast-paced settings
- Meditech EMR experience preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Circulate and/or scrub for a range of cases including CABG, valve replacement, carotid endarterectomy, ECMO, angiograms, fistulagrams, fistula creation, and lower extremity bypass procedures
- Deliver high quality, patient-focused care in a 1:1 nurse-to-patient ratio environment
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of RNs and surgical technologists
- Adhere to all safety, infection control, and documentation standards
- Float to Main OR as needed
