Job Description

Embark on an impactful clinical nursing assignment in a dynamic cardiovascular operating room environment. This opportunity calls for a committed Registered Nurse with specialized CVOR experience, ready to work in a busy surgical unit with fourteen state-of-the-art operating roomstwo specifically dedicated to cardiovascular procedures.

Schedule/Hours:

  • Shifts begin at 6:30am, daily team huddle at 6:45am
  • 30-minute response time required for on-call roles
  • Staff self-select on-call shifts, 12 per week (including weekdays and weekends)
  • On-call coverage includes overnight, weekend, and evening hours as required

Qualifications:

  • Active RN license with two or more years of circulator experience in an acute care hospital
  • Demonstrated experience in CVOR
  • Proficiency in a variety of surgical services: General Surgery, ENT, Uro/Gyn, Orthopedics, and Robotics
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
  • Strongly preferred: CNOR certification and five or more years of relevant operating room experience

Responsibilities:

  • Circulate in a high-volume OR setting with a 1:1 patient ratio
  • Collaborate with surgical teams on varied procedures: heavy robotics, GYN, general surgery, ENT, colorectal, vascular, and urology
  • Utilize Meditech ORM for documentation and technology platforms
  • Adapt to changing surgical schedules and support a collaborative, fast-paced environment
  • Float as needed to Preop Holding within credentialed competencies
  • Participate in daily huddles and contribute to a culture committed to best practices and safety

  • Scrubs provided by the facility
  • Artificial nails, dips, and gels are not permitted
