Schedule/Hours:
- 12-hour day shifts
- 36 hours per week
- 13-week assignment
- On call: 1 weekend per month plus 1-2 days of call during the week
Qualifications:
- Current RN licensure
- At least 1 year of recent CVOR nursing experience
- BLS certification (AHA)
- Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
- Adaptability to new environments and willingness to collaborate
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide perioperative care to patients undergoing cardiovascular surgery
- Assist with preparation, monitoring, and post-surgical care in the CVOR
- Collaborate closely with surgical teams, anesthesia, and support staff
- Maintain rigorous patient safety and infection control standards
- Respond efficiently and compassionately to emergency situations
- Contribute to ongoing quality improvement initiatives
