Schedule/Hours:
- Shifts: 12-hour days
- Total Hours: 36 per week
- Length: 13 weeks
- Call: 1 weekend per month plus 1-2 call days during the week
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Current RN licensure
- At least 1 year of dedicated CVOR nursing experience
- BLS certification (AHA required)
- Adaptability to fast-paced surgical environments
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Reliable, with a commitment to patient safety and quality care
Role Responsibilities:
- Circulate and/or scrub in complex cardiovascular surgical procedures
- Support surgeons and anesthesia professionals with precision and confidence
- Maintain sterile fields and enforce infection control protocols
- Monitor patient status, anticipate surgical needs, and coordinate care
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team for optimal outcomes
- Participate in the on-call rotation as scheduled
