Schedule/Hours:
- 12-hour day shifts
- 36 hours per week
- 13-week assignment
- On-call: 1 weekend per month, 12 days during the week
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Current, unencumbered RN license
- Minimum of 1 year CVOR nursing experience
- Active BLS certification (AHA required)
- Excellent critical thinking and communication skills
- Strong adaptability and team orientation in high-acuity environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive patient care throughout the CVOR process
- Assist the surgical team in all phases of cardiovascular operations
- Monitor and assess patient status, respond swiftly to changes
- Maintain precise documentation and uphold safety protocols
- Serve as an advocate for patients and support their families
