What youll need:
- Active RN license in the state of Florida or compact state eligibility
- Minimum of two years recent CVOR nursing experience
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Familiarity with cardiovascular operating room protocols and surgical safety standards
- Strong communication skills and adaptability in fast-paced settings
- Ability to work collaboratively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and multidisciplinary teams
Primary Responsibilities:
- Prepare, assess, and monitor patients before, during, and after cardiovascular surgeries
- Assist surgical teams with specialized instruments and procedures in the OR
- Maintain strict adherence to aseptic techniques and infection control guidelines
- Provide detailed patient status updates and support in emergent situations
- Ensure accurate documentation of procedures and patient responses
- Manage supplies and equipment relevant to the CVOR setting
