Key Qualifications:
- Active RN license in good standing
- At least 2 years CVOR experience in high-acuity surgical environments
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications (required)
- Comprehensive understanding of cardiovascular surgery protocols, sterile techniques, and instrument management
- Strong communication skills and ability to thrive in fast-paced, multidisciplinary teams
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver skilled, compassionate patient care before, during, and after cardiothoracic procedures
- Collaborate with surgeons and anesthesia providers to anticipate needs and maintain safe, efficient OR flow
- Handle specialized equipment and documentation according to hospital and regulatory policies
- Adhere to best practices in infection control, safety, and patient privacy throughout every case
