This role is tailored for experienced CVOR nurses ready to gain valuable clinical exposure and work with multiple surgical teams. Milwaukees healthcare network offers the opportunity to collaborate across various departments and sites, expanding your professional toolkit and deepening your leadership capabilities as you adapt to new workplace cultures and best practices. Schedule:
- 4x10 hour shifts with a set day off
- Call: 2-3 days per week, day shifts, with rotating weekends and holidays
Desired Qualifications:
- Current RN licensure with minimum of 2 years dedicated CVOR experience
- Proficiency with EPIC
- Prior travel nursing experience preferred
- Willingness to float within skillset to nearby sites (up to 40 miles) as needed
- Excellent communication and adaptability in fast-paced environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Circulate and/or scrub in cardiovascular surgical procedures
- Deliver exceptional patient care, ensuring safety and quality throughout perioperative process
- Collaboratively participate in interdisciplinary team meetings
- Flexibly assist at other departments within the surgical service line when required
- Maintain meticulous documentation utilizing EPIC
