Schedule/Hours:

  • Four 10-hour shifts per week, with a set day off
  • On-call defined by department needstypically 2-3 weekdays per week, plus rotating weekends and holidays

Key Qualifications:

  • Active RN license
  • At least 2 years of direct CVOR experience
  • Proficiency with EPIC or similar EMR systems
  • Previous travel assignment experience preferred
  • Willingness to float within skill set, including satellite locations within a 40-mile radius

Core Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct and specialized nursing care in the CVOR environment
  • Assist cardiovascular surgeons during advanced operative procedures
  • Anticipate instrument and supply needs with a strong attention to detail
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Flexibly adapt to different units as needed, supporting overall patient care initiatives
