Job Description

An experienced RN with specialized knowledge in Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) nursing is needed for an exciting contract opportunity. This fast-paced position offers the chance to work alongside seasoned clinicians in a bustling hospital setting, making a positive difference for patients requiring advanced cardiovascular care.

Schedule:

  • 12-hour day shifts
  • 13-week contract

Qualifications:

  • Current RN license in good standing
  • Minimum of one year of recent Cardiovascular OR (CVOR) experience required
  • Strong understanding of CVOR procedures, standards, and protocols
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • Ability to work effectively in high-pressure, dynamic OR environments
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and critical thinking skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist physicians during cardiovascular surgeries and procedures in the operating room
  • Monitor patients vital signs and condition throughout surgery
  • Ensure strict adherence to sterile and infection control practices
  • Prepare, maintain, and inventory surgical instruments and supplies
  • Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Document assessments, care provided, and surgical events accurately
