Schedule/Hours

• 12-hour day shifts
• 13-week contract duration

Qualifications

• Active RN license with the ability to practice in Delaware
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Previous experience working in a CVOR setting
• Strong knowledge of cardiac procedures, instrumentation, and sterile techniques
• Exceptional critical thinking and organizational skills
• Proven ability to effectively support surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical technologists during complex procedures

Responsibilities

• Deliver hands-on, comprehensive nursing care before, during, and after cardiovascular surgical procedures
• Maintain strict adherence to aseptic technique and infection control protocols throughout all processes
• Coordinate with the surgical team to prepare and manage necessary equipment and supplies
• Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment in real time
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members
• Provide support and mentorship to less experienced staff as needed
