Key Qualifications:
- Active and unrestricted RN license
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Minimum 2 years of recent experience in CVOR nursing
- Strong knowledge of cardiac and vascular surgical procedures
- Effective communication and critical thinking skills
- Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and multidisciplinary teams
Essential Responsibilities:
- Scrub and circulate for cardiovascular surgical cases
- Monitor patients vital signs and progress pre-, intra- and post-op
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia, and support staff to ensure safe, efficient outcomes
- Maintain strict adherence to aseptic technique and best practices
- Document procedures and patient responses thoroughly
