Qualifications / Experience:
- Active, unencumbered RN license
- Minimum 2 years recent CVOR experience
- Proficient in heart and lung transplant procedures
- Scrubbing ability is highly desirable
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong critical thinking and teamwork skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Circulate and, as needed, scrub cardiac OR cases
- Deliver pre-, intra-, and post-operative nursing care for heart and lung transplants
- Accurately document patient progress
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and allied health professionals
- Safeguard patient safety and comfort
- Respond effectively to emergent situations and take call as scheduled
