Schedule/Hours:

• Contract position with variable shifts dependent on surgical schedules.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Active and unrestricted RN license
• Minimum of 2 years recent experience in CVOR nursing
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Strong knowledge of cardiovascular surgical procedures
• Experience circulating and scrubbing in a CVOR setting
• Excellent communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care before, during, and after cardiovascular surgical procedures
• Prepare and maintain operating rooms, ensuring all instruments and equipment are sterile and ready
• Serve as a liaison between the surgical team and patients family
• Monitor patient status and maintain accurate documentation throughout surgical care
