Qualifications:
- Active, unencumbered RN license
- Minimum one year of recent CVOR experience required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to thrive in a rapidly changing, high-pressure environment
- Familiarity with CVOR-specific equipment and procedures
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care for patients undergoing cardiovascular surgery
- Assist surgeons as a scrub or circulating nurse, ensuring a sterile field throughout procedures
- Monitor patient status, anticipate needs, and administer medications
- Collaborate with surgical, anesthesia, and central supply teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Maintain detailed documentation and adherence to safety standards
