As a Registered Nurse specializing in Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR), youll be exposed to leading clinical methodologies, broaden your experience with innovative technologies, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams. Schedule/Hours:
- Travel assignment, flexible scheduling as per facility needs
Desired Qualifications:
- Current RN license, valid in Colorado (or compact license)
- Minimum of 2 years recent CVOR nursing experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA preferred)
- Strong knowledge of cardiovascular surgical procedures and sterile techniques
- Excellent communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative surgical setting
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized nursing care to patients undergoing cardiovascular surgery
- Prepare operating room, surgical equipment, and necessary materials
- Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the surgical team
- Monitor patient vitals and status throughout procedures
- Maintain strict adherence to infection control/prevention standards
- Document patient care accurately and promptly
- Deliver compassionate pre- and post-operative care
