Schedule & Hours:
- Variable shifts
- Guaranteed 36 hours/week
- On-call required
- Weekends to be discussed during interview
Qualifications:
- Active RN Texas license (permanent only, no temp licenses)
- Minimum 2 years of recent Day Surgery experience
- Current BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications
- Experience in general, gynecology, orthopedics, spine, robotics, and vascular procedures
- Proficiency caring for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients
- Strong communication and patient interaction skills
- Preferred: Meditech experience
- Excellent attitude and positive personality
Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients for surgery and provide high-quality perioperative care
- Adhere to strict infection prevention and hospital policy standards
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary surgical teams
- Accurate electronic documentation in Meditech
- Float to other units as needed
- Maintain professional appearance and comply with dress code/personal hygiene guidelines
