Key Qualifications:
- Current, unrestricted RN license
- Minimum of 2 years recent CVOR nursing experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA) required
- Excellent communication and critical thinking abilities
- Proven adaptability and attention to detail in high-stress situations
- Familiarity with CVOR protocols, surgical instrumentation, and sterile technique
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide expert perioperative nursing care to cardiovascular surgery patients
- Collaborate effectively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and OR teams
- Prepare, monitor, and advocate for patient safety throughout surgical procedures
