Schedule/Hours:

Qualifications:

  • Current, unencumbered RN license
  • Minimum of 2 years of recent CVOR nursing experience
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • Expertise in cardiac surgery procedures, sterile technique, and perioperative nursing
  • Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication abilities
  • Flexibility and adaptability to dynamic operating room environments

Responsibilities:

  • Scrub and circulate during cardiac and vascular surgeries
  • Collaborate with surgeons, scrub techs, anesthesiologists, and surgical assistants
  • Maintain strict adherence to sterile field protocols
  • Monitor and record patient vitals throughout procedures
  • Ensure supplies and equipment are prepared and functioning
  • Provide patient-centered care across pre-op, intra-op, and post-op phases
