This assignment spotlights the opportunity to make a direct impact in Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) nursing, while expanding your practice with hands-on exposure to both CVOR and general OR cases. Schedule/Hours:
- Travel position; schedule arranged with facility upon offer.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Active RN license (valid for Florida or compact states)
- Minimum of 1 year recent CVOR experience
- Proficiency in both CVOR and general OR procedures
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Circulate and/or scrub in CVOR as well as general operating room cases
- Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure optimal patient care and safety
- Maintain accurate documentation throughout the perioperative process
- Support interdisciplinary communication and uphold best practices in cardiac surgery
