This travel RN assignment in a busy, innovative CVOR setting provides tremendous professional benefit. Here, your expertise in cardiovascular and perioperative care will be enhanced through collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and exposure to varied surgical cases and advanced technology. Youll expand your clinical acumen and leadership skills in a hospital with a reputation for excellence in women's and cardiovascular services.
Schedule/Hours
- Variable shifts; specifics discussed during the interview
- On-call required
- 36 guaranteed hours per week
- Assignment length: 13 weeks
Desired Qualifications
- Current, active Texas RN license (no temp licenses)
- Minimum 2 years of recent CVOR or day surgery RN experience
- Experience with adult, adolescent, and geriatric populations
- ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications
- Previous exposure to general, gynecological, ortho, spine, robotic, and vascular surgical cases
- Meditech proficiency preferred
- Demonstrated pleasant, approachable personality
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for cardiovascular and other surgical procedures
- Deliver safe, high-quality perioperative nursing care
- Collaborate with surgical and multidisciplinary teams
- Float to additional units as needed
- Provide education and support to patients and families
