Position Overview & Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality perioperative nursing care to patients undergoing cardiovascular surgery
- Circulate and scrub in a fast-paced CVOR environment
- Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical techs to ensure optimal outcomes
- Use critical thinking skills to anticipate the unique needs of each surgical patient
- Uphold best practices in patient safety, infection control, and sterile technique
- Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives
Preferred Experience & Qualifications:
- Active and unencumbered RN licensure
- At least 2 years of recent experience in CVOR nursing
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Experience with a variety of cardiac surgical procedures
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in rapidly changing, high-acuity settings
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills
