Schedule/Hours

  • Full time schedule
  • Participation in weekday, weekend, and holiday call rotation required

Desired Qualifications

  • Active RN license
  • CVOR experience required
  • Expertise in patient assessment and perioperative nursing process
  • Ability to provide care across all age groups and address varying needs
  • Leadership qualities; able to coordinate and direct team during emergent situations
  • Strong decision-making and communication skills

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement the nursing process with advanced knowledge to provide comprehensive patient care
  • Respond to urgent and life-saving situations efficiently, coordinating suite activities and team members
  • Lead and direct surgical team during procedures; act as circulator or surgical tech during peak surgery times
  • Foster professional development for self and staff, serving as a team leader and positive role model
  • Address the biological, emotional, and educational needs of patients and their families/support systems
  • Engage in charge nurse duties as required, supporting department operations
