Schedule/Hours
- Full time schedule
- Participation in weekday, weekend, and holiday call rotation required
Desired Qualifications
- Active RN license
- CVOR experience required
- Expertise in patient assessment and perioperative nursing process
- Ability to provide care across all age groups and address varying needs
- Leadership qualities; able to coordinate and direct team during emergent situations
- Strong decision-making and communication skills
Key Responsibilities
- Implement the nursing process with advanced knowledge to provide comprehensive patient care
- Respond to urgent and life-saving situations efficiently, coordinating suite activities and team members
- Lead and direct surgical team during procedures; act as circulator or surgical tech during peak surgery times
- Foster professional development for self and staff, serving as a team leader and positive role model
- Address the biological, emotional, and educational needs of patients and their families/support systems
- Engage in charge nurse duties as required, supporting department operations
