Schedule/Hours:
- Full-time position as circulator or surgical tech during peak surgery hours
- Weekday, weekend, and holiday call required
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive, age-appropriate care that meets the physical, psychological, and educational needs of cardiovascular surgical patients and their families
- Coordinate and direct activities in the surgical suite, especially during urgent and emergent situations
- Serve as a role model and team leader, guiding and supporting colleagues in patient care and organizational processes
- Participate in and coordinate staff development and ongoing self-education
- Assume charge nurse responsibilities as needed
Desired Qualifications:
- Active RN license and current certification in nursing specialty
- Prior experience in Cardiovascular OR nursing
- Demonstrated competence in urgent, emergent, and life-saving surgical situations
