Position Details:

- Full time
- Weekday, weekend, and holiday call required
Key Qualifications:
- Current, unencumbered RN license
- Minimum one year experience as a CVOR nurse
- Proficient in the full spectrum of perioperative nursing
- Strong critical thinking, prioritization, and leadership skills
- Willingness to function independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Experience as charge nurse and/or circulator or surgical technologist preferred
Primary Responsibilities:
- Implement the complete nursing process with focus on age-appropriate cardiovascular patient care
- Manage care and coordinate surgical suite activities during complex, urgent, and emergent cases
- Serve as a team leader, guiding and mentoring staff and supporting professional development
- Take initiative for personal continuing education and staff training
- Act as a circulator or assist as needed during peak hours
- Participate in evening, weekend, and holiday call rotations
- Uphold the highest standards for patient safety, documentation, and interdisciplinary collaboration
