We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in CVOR for a contract position. In this role, you will work alongside skilled surgical teams to deliver outstanding care to patients undergoing cardiovascular procedures.

Key Qualifications:

• Active and unencumbered RN license
• Minimum of 1 year recent CVOR experience required
• Proficient in circulating and scrubbing CVOR cases
• Current certifications: BLS (required), ACLS (preferred)
• Strong knowledge of cardiovascular surgical procedures and sterile technique
• Excellent assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
• Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment

Schedule:

• Standard shifts as determined by department needs

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assist surgeons and support staff during cardiovascular surgeries
• Prepare and maintain a sterile field before and during procedures
• Monitor patient status and respond to changes in condition
• Ensure accurate documentation of patient care and surgical events
• Coordinate care with interdisciplinary team members
• Maintain compliance with hospital protocols and best practice guidelines
• Advocate for patient safety throughout perioperative phases
