Schedule:
- Variable shifts, including weekend and on-call requirements
- 13-week assignment, 36 guaranteed hours weekly
Qualifications:
- Active, unrestricted RN license in Texas (no temporary licenses)
- Minimum 2 years relevant nursing experience, especially in Day Surgery or CVOR
- Current ACLS, PALS, BLS certifications
- Comfortable with adult, adolescent, and geriatric patient populations
- Strong surgical preparation skills and a smiling, positive demeanor
- Meditech EMR proficiency preferred
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and monitor patients for surgery in a dynamic surgical environment
- Provide care across multiple specialties, including cardiovascular, oncology, neuro, and orthopedics
- Adhere to the highest standards in documentation and patient safety
- Float to other units as needed and participate in the on-call rotation

- Facility-issued scrubs; follow policy regarding neat appearance, covered tattoos, and limited piercings
