Take on a pivotal role as a Registered Nurse specializing in Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) care. In this dynamic contract position, youll play an essential role supporting cardiovascular surgical teams, ensuring patient safety and excellence in perioperative care.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Current and unrestricted RN license.
• At least 2 years of recent CVOR nursing experience.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Proven ability to work efficiently in high-pressure environments.
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills.
• Familiarity with advanced cardiovascular surgical procedures, protocols, and instrumentation.
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support surgical teams in preparing cardiovascular cases, including circulating and scrubbing as required.
• Monitor patients condition before, during, and after procedures, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient records and documentation.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Ensure sterile technique and proper handling of instruments and equipment.
• Respond promptly and effectively to medical emergencies within the CVOR.
• Adhere to institutional policies, procedures, and best practices in perioperative nursing.

$2,299 - $2,432/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
