An exciting opportunity awaits a skilled Registered Nurse specializing in Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) care. Schedule/Hours:

• Full-time contract position (specific schedule to be discussed during the interview process)

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse license
• At least 2 years of recent experience in a CVOR setting
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• Strong understanding of cardiovascular procedures, sterile technique, and surgical protocols
• Excellent critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to perform efficiently in high-stress, fast-paced situations
• Experience with electronic medical records preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with all aspects of preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative care for patients undergoing cardiovascular surgery
• Scrub and circulate for CVOR procedures, adhering to best practices for infection control and patient safety
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical technologists to anticipate patient and team needs
• Monitor and document patient status throughout procedures using standard protocols
• Maintain a sterile environment and manage surgical instruments and equipment
• Provide patient education and support to families as needed
