Schedule/Hours:
- Participation in call rotations required
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- RN with active, unencumbered nursing license
- At least 2 years of recent CVOR experience
- Demonstrated expertise in both heart and lung transplant procedures
- Scrub experience is a valuable asset
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong ability to work in high-pressure, collaborative environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality, evidence-based care to cardiac and transplant surgical patients
- Circulate and scrub as needed, supporting the surgical team throughout procedures
- Anticipate and fulfill needs of surgeons and surgical technologists in the CVOR
- Monitor patient safety and responses, intervening as appropriate
- Maintain meticulous documentation of all intraoperative activities
- Support patient and family education for post-surgical care
