Schedule:
- 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM
Qualifications:
- Active RN license in good standing
- Minimum of 2 years of recent CVOR experience
- Proficient in preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative patient care specific to cardiovascular surgeries
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Familiarity with electronic medical records and stringent surgical protocols
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care for patients undergoing cardiovascular surgery
- Collaborate with surgeons and surgical teams in all phases of perioperative care
- Monitor patient status pre-, intra-, and post-surgery, intervening promptly as needed
- Maintain accurate, detailed medical records
- Adhere to infection control and safety standards
- Offer emotional support to patients and families throughout the surgical process
