Job Description

This contract opportunity is ideal for Registered Nurses with at least two years of experience who thrive in the operating room and are prepared to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. Schedule:

  • Night shift: 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 07:00)
  • Weekend rotations; specifics will be discussed during the interview
  • Call required: Typically one weekday call per week and one weekend call every 5-6 weeks

Qualifications:

  • Active RN license with a minimum of two years CVOR experience
  • Can be a first-time traveler; open and adaptable to new environments
  • Ability to float within the facility and scope of practice as needed
  • Strong clinical skills and the ability to succeed in a clinically screened process

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-level, patient-centered care to those undergoing cardiovascular surgical procedures
  • Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and fellow nurses to support complex surgical cases
  • Respond to call assignments efficiently and provide coverage as part of a dedicated team
  • Maintain meticulous documentation and ensure compliance with facility protocols

Additional Information:

  • Maximum of 7 days requested time off can be accommodated during the contract term
  • Must be available to work holidays if they fall within the contract per facility requirements
  • Full compliance is needed prior to your start date to ensure timely orientation
  • Candidates must participate in a clinical screen process; selection is also based on fit with facility standards
