Desired Qualifications:
- Current RN license, eligible for Colorado state licensure
- At least 2 years of recent CVOR experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong understanding of cardiovascular operating room procedures and protocols
- Excellent critical thinking, communication, and teamwork abilities
- Previous travel nursing experience preferred, but not required
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist cardiovascular surgeons in all aspects of preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative patient care
- Scrub and circulate on complex surgical cases involving cardiovascular procedures
- Monitor patients conditions, document care, and inform surgical team of any changes
- Uphold strict sterile techniques and ensure a safe surgical environment
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver the highest quality patient care
