Exciting opportunity for a skilled RN with experience in Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) nursing to take on a contract role at a dynamic healthcare facility in Decatur, GA. This contract assignment offers the chance to deliver specialized perioperative care alongside a highly collaborative surgical team.

Schedule:

• Night shift, 3x12-hour rotations (19:00 - 07:00)
• Weekend rotations required (schedule discussed during interview)
• On-call shifts: typically one weekday on-call per week, plus one weekend on-call every 56 weeks

Role Responsibilities:

• Assist physicians and surgical staff during cardiovascular surgical procedures
• Monitor patient status and vital signs through all phases of the operative process
• Circulate or scrub as needed, maintaining aseptic technique and patient safety
• Communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and patient families
• Float within the facility and within scope of practice, as required
• Adhere to hospital policies and procedural protocols for compliance

Qualifications:

• Active RN license in good standing
• Minimum 2 years of recent CVOR experience (first-time travelers welcome)
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Solid clinical assessment and decision-making skills
• Must be clinically screened and approved before placement
• Ability to work required holiday shifts if assignment overlaps with any major holiday

• Up to 7 days of requested time off permitted
• Full compliance with onboarding required for timely start; non-compliance may delay orientation
