Skills & Qualifications:
- Valid RN license, eligible for practice in Oregon
- BLS and ACLS certification required
- Minimum of 2 years recent experience in a CVOR setting
- Strong knowledge of cardiovascular procedures and equipment
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert perioperative nursing care for patients undergoing cardiovascular surgeries
- Prepare the operating room, including setting up sterile fields and specialized equipment
- Assist the surgical team with intraoperative procedures and anticipate surgeon needs
- Ensure optimal patient safety and infection control measures throughout procedures
- Monitor patient conditions and respond rapidly to changes during surgery
- Document all aspects of care accurately and thoroughly
