This opportunity focuses on cardiac surgery in a renowned healthcare setting, specifically requiring experience with heart and lung transplants. Responsibilities:
- Deliver top-tier perioperative care for cardiac surgical patients, with a focus on transplants (heart and lung)
- Collaborate effectively with surgeons, scrub techs, and the wider operating room team
- Scrub in as needed and assist with operative procedures
- Monitor patient status before, during, and after surgery, ensuring safety and optimal outcomes
- Respond promptly to emergent cases as part of the on-call rotation
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid RN license
- Solid background in CVOR nursing, including heart and lung transplant procedures
- Scrubbing experience highly preferred
- Strong communication and critical-thinking abilities
- Willingness to participate in a rotating call schedule
