Key Qualifications:
- Active and unencumbered RN license, valid for practice in Illinois
- Minimum two years experience in a high-acuity CVOR setting
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Proficiency in scrubbing and circulating within cardiovascular operating rooms
- Adaptability, strong critical thinking skills, and solid teamwork abilities
Role Responsibilities:
- Assist in complex cardiovascular procedures, handling scrubbing and circulating duties
- Monitor patient status, responding swiftly to changes during surgery
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the surgical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain a sterile field and uphold the highest standards of safety and infection prevention
- Document care accurately and promptly
