Highly skilled Registered Nurses with CVOR experience are needed to join a premier Open Heart surgical team within a large, state-of-the-art operating room environment. Youll be an essential part of a collaborative care group supporting advanced heart procedures and working 1:1 with patients in a unit equipped for complex cardiothoracic services.

Schedule/Hours:

• Day Shift: 7 am 3 pm (with call coverage after 3 pm and weekend call)
• Night Shift: Call coverage only

Qualifications:

• Active RN license required
• BLS and ACLS certifications mandatory
• At least one year of CVOR and open heart experience
• Strong background in the cardiothoracic service line
• Flexibility to float to other operating rooms and service lines when necessary
• Experience in Trauma, General, Gyn, Uro, Ortho, Neuro, or Plastics is a plus

Responsibilities:

• Scrub and circulate for open heart surgeries, including CABG (with and without EVH), valve replacements, ECMO, Impella insertions, and pericardial windows
• Handle advanced equipment in a Meditech EMR environment
• Maintain 1:1 patient ratio during highly specialized procedures
• Collaborate effectively with a core team of RNs and surgical techs
• Participate in on-call rotation, including weekends and holidays, assisting with emergent cases as needed
• Adhere to strict infection control and safety procedures
• Wear navy blue scrubs as per unit policy
