Job Description

Qualifications:

  • Active, unrestricted RN license
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications
  • Two years of recent experience as an RN in a CVOR or cardiac surgical environment
  • Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy and surgical protocols
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Demonstrated ability to respond quickly and effectively in high-pressure situations

Core Responsibilities:

  • Circulate and scrub within the CVOR for a variety of cardiac and thoracic procedures
  • Provide pre-, intra-, and postoperative patient assessments and documentation
  • Maintain strict aseptic technique and patient safety throughout surgical procedures
  • Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other OR staff
  • Administer medications and monitor patient vitals as directed
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety guidelines
