As an RN with cardiovascular operating room (CVOR) expertise, you'll practice in a leading-edge acute care environment, home to the regions only Atrial Fibrillation Certified hospital, an Accredited Chest Pain Center, and an Advanced Primary Stroke Center. This facility brings together a wealth of specialized services, exposing you to diverse patient populations and state-of-the-art care protocols that elevate your practice. Working alongside accomplished surgeons and multidisciplinary teams, youll gain direct insight into evolving surgical techniques and leadership approaches, making this an invaluable next step in your nursing journey.
Schedule/Hours:
- 7:00 AM 3:00 PM
Qualifications:
- Active RN license, eligible in Florida
- Minimum of two years CVOR (Open Heart) and Vascular surgical experience required
- RNFA certification a strong plus
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Demonstrated adaptability in fast-paced OR settings
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Circulate and scrub on cardiovascular and vascular procedures
- Collaborate with perioperative teams to deliver exemplary patient care
- Assist surgeons and anticipate operative needs
- Maintain adherence to safety and infection control guidelines
- Participate actively in departmental improvement initiatives
