Key Qualifications
- Current RN license (NY state or compact eligible)
- At least 2 years of recent CVOR experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong knowledge of cardiovascular surgical procedures and sterile techniques
- Excellent communication, critical thinking, and teamwork abilities
- Adaptability in fast-paced, high-acuity settings
Responsibilities
- Circulate and/or scrub for cardiovascular surgical cases
- Coordinate with surgical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain aseptic techniques and uphold safety standards
- Provide pre-, intra-, and post-operative patient care
- Accurately document nursing activities
- Act as a resource for patients and families during the surgical journey
