Working as a travel RN in the Cardiovascular Operating Room will expose you to varied approaches in surgical procedures and perioperative team dynamics. Schedule/Hours
- 40 hours per week
- Start time: 06:45 | End time: 17:15
- Rotating days based on an 8-week schedule
- Call requirements: 12 shifts (each 12 hours) per 8-week cycle
Desired Experience & Qualifications
- Current, active RN license
- 2+ years recent Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) experience preferred
- BLS/ACLS certifications (as required)
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills
- Ability to perform and adapt during high-acuity procedures
Key Responsibilities
- Direct patient care before, during, and after cardiovascular surgery
- Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical staff
- Scrub and circulate during CVOR procedures as needed
- Monitor patient responses and troubleshoot equipment
- Uphold strict safety, aseptic, and documentation standards
